Maintenance Officer – Electrical / Automation

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automation, electrical, and control systems in Blister and Solid Manufacturing areas. The role ensures machine reliability, supports preventive maintenance programs, and assists engineering teams in installation, commissioning, and operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement effective procedures and maintenance methods for automation and process control equipment.
Ensure compliance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Reduce machine breakdowns through timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
Perform replacement, maintenance, and adjustment of sensors, valves, controllers, and other electrical components.
Supervise electrical complaints and troubleshooting in Solid Manufacturing and Blister areas.
Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and report observations to the Maintenance Lead.
Support Maintenance Engineers in machine maintenance activities.
Assist in new projects including machine installation, commissioning, and training.
Recommend upgrades and improvements for machine performance and reliability.
Support Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) programs and assist in data collection.
Supervise automation and instrumentation activities during maintenance.
Support Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) activities.
Maintain daily maintenance and breakdown logbooks.
Participate in and attend local and global technical training programs.
