Job Position – Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) Officer

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BS or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
Strong English communication skills
Ability to communicate safety procedures and instructions in a professional environment

Experience Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

Selected candidates will perform the following tasks:

Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and international safety standards
Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and hazard identification
Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities
Carry out Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Analysis
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases
Ensure proper availability and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training
Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety compliance
Develop emergency response plans
Handle hazardous waste management according to environmental standards
Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and inspection records
