The Bank of Punjab (BOP), one of Pakistan’s fastest growing commercial banks with over 35+ years of excellence and a network of 900+ online branches and ATMs nationwide, is hiring an Associate Manager – Investigation in its Internal Audit Function Group at Lahore.
This role is designed for professionals with strong investigative, analytical, and fraud risk management skills who are looking to build a long-term career in the banking sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations related to complaints, fraud cases, and policy breaches in accordance with the Bank’s Fraud Risk Management framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, M.Com or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics from HEC recognized university.
- Professional certifications such as CFE, CA, ACCA, CIA or CBA will be preferred.
- Maximum age up to 55 years at the time of application.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant banking or non-banking experience in investigation, audit, compliance or related role.
- Strong understanding of fraud risk management, investigation techniques and audit procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations related to complaints, allegations, and digital fraud as per Fraud Risk Management Policy
- Execute investigation plans provided by Unit Head Investigation
- Collect, analyze, and document sufficient evidence including staff statements
- Ensure completion of investigations within defined timelines and budget
- Maintain strict confidentiality of whistleblower identity and investigation details
- Prepare and maintain MIS records of investigation reports
- Identify negligence, fraud, or misconduct during investigations
- Prepare periodic reports on investigation findings and management actions
- Maintain complete documentation of complaints, responses, and investigation records
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors
