Position Details

Requirements

• MBBS or Equivalent with 2 years experience
• FELTP/FETP/EIS Course or Masters in Field Epidemiology/Public Health preferred
• 8 years experience in epidemiology or public health
• Valid PMDC registration
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Experience in surveillance system design
• Publication record preferred
• Ability to work in high altitude and remote areas
• Leadership and team management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead epidemiological activities in GB region
• Design and conduct disease surveillance studies
• Analyze disease patterns and trends in GB
• Mentor surveillance officers and junior staff
• Prepare technical reports and publications
• Coordinate with national headquarters in Islamabad
• Investigate disease outbreaks in GB
• Develop surveillance protocols for mountain regions
• Build capacity of district health staff
• Liaise with provincial health department GB
• Present findings at national and international forums
• Support policy development for GB health
• Manage field epidemiology training activities
