NIH Islamabad is hiring 14 Surveillance Officer Faculty Members for FELTP under IDSR/PHLN project. Teach and mentor field epidemiology trainees.
Requirements
- MBBS/MSPH/MPH or Equivalent
- 2-3 years relevant experience in epidemiology or public health
- Valid PMDC registration for MBBS holders
- Teaching experience preferred
- Field epidemiology experience
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to mentor and guide trainees
- Research and publication experience
- Willingness to travel for field supervision
Responsibilities
- Teach FELTP trainees in classroom and field settings
- Conduct surveillance activities and outbreak investigations
- Develop training materials and curricula
- Mentor students in field epidemiology projects
- Participate in outbreak investigations as faculty
- Prepare academic content and case studies
- Evaluate trainee performance and progress
- Supervise field placements and practicums
- Conduct research and publish findings
- Support program evaluation and quality improvement
- Coordinate with national and international faculty
- Participate in curriculum review and updates
- Represent FELTP at professional meetings
