Position Details

Requirements

• MBBS or Equivalent qualification
• Preference to candidates with FELTP Course (short or long)
• Valid PMDC registration
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in high altitude and remote areas
• Knowledge of disease surveillance systems
• Computer proficiency for data entry
• Willingness to travel within GB region

Responsibilities

• Conduct disease surveillance activities in GB region
• Monitor outbreak detection and response operations
• Collect and analyze surveillance data from health facilities
• Coordinate with district health authorities in GB
• Prepare weekly and monthly surveillance reports
• Investigate disease outbreaks and epidemics
• Conduct active case finding in communities
• Train health workers on surveillance protocols
• Maintain cold chain for specimen transport
• Ensure timely reporting to national level
• Support immunization campaign activities
• Participate in field epidemiology investigations
• Liaise with provincial health department GB
