The Bank is offering an excellent career opportunity for experienced professionals by hiring a Team Manager – MS Audit in its Internal Audit Function Group at Lahore.
This position is ideal for candidates aiming to build a long term career in banking audit, compliance, and risk management functions.
The selected candidate will lead audit engagements, supervise audit teams, and ensure implementation of strong internal controls aligned with regulatory frameworks including SBP guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics from HEC recognized university
- Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, ACMA, CIA or CBA preferred
- Maximum age up to 55 years at the time of application
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in banking or non-banking audit, finance or related roles
- Preference for candidates with experience in CA firms or audit policy development
- Strong understanding of internal audit frameworks, risk management and SBP regulations
Responsibilities
- Manage execution of audit engagements within defined timelines and budgets
- Perform audit assignments involving high risk areas as directed by Unit Head MS Audit
- Review and validate audit samples prepared by team members
- Conduct opening meetings and participate in closing meetings with audit leadership
- Prepare engagement planning documents before initiation of assignments
- Supervise management audits to assess policies, controls, MIS reliability and governance frameworks
- Identify gaps in internal controls and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Escalate critical issues to management through Unit Head MS Audit
- Review work of team members and ensure proper audit documentation and evidence
- Discuss audit observations with auditees and obtain management responses
- Consolidate audit exceptions based on significance for audit reporting
- Coach and guide team members to improve performance and audit quality
- Stay updated with new developments in audit practices and regulatory requirements
- Validate audit observations from internal, external and SBP audits
