Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Developing policies and recommendations to improve food security in Pakistan
Conducting research and policy analysis on agriculture, climate change, and food systems
Creating short- and medium-term development projects and programs
Contributing to national and international agriculture and climate change agendas
Promoting innovation and value addition in agriculture and related industries
Supporting planning and development of the agriculture sector
Engaging with federal and provincial governments to strengthen policy implementation
Addressing complex challenges related to food security, climate change, and agricultural development
Strengthening rural economic development and agricultural sustainability

Contract Duration

Initial appointment will be for 3 years
Extendable annually based on performance
Maximum tenure: 4 years

Salary Package

The position offers a competitive government pay package under the SPPS-1 Scale, as per federal government policy.
