Government of Pakistan – Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC)

The Government of Pakistan, through the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development and the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), has announced registration for the Korea Employment Permit System (EPS) for the year 2026.

Pakistani workers will be selected for employment in South Korea through the EPS-TOPIK system, which includes language testing and skill evaluation.

This recruitment is conducted in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRDK).

Purpose of the Program

The purpose of this program is to provide employment opportunities to Pakistani workers in South Korea’s manufacturing sector through a transparent selection system.

Successful candidates will be selected through Korean language tests and skill assessments.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

Age Limit

• Applicants must be 18 to 39 years old
• Date of birth should be between 31 March 1986 and 30 March 2008

Nationality

• Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan

Criminal Record

• Applicant must not have any criminal record

Travel Restrictions

• Applicant must not be on the Exit Control List (ECL)

Health Requirements

• Applicants should not be color blind

Previous Stay in Korea

Applicants who have stayed in Korea for 5 years or more illegally are not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two main stages.

Stage 1 – Korean Language Test (EPS-TOPIK)

Candidates must pass the Korean language test (UBT EPS-TOPIK).

Test Structure:

• Total Questions: 50
• Listening: 20 questions
• Reading: 20 questions
• Remaining questions from mixed sections

Passing Criteria:

• Candidates must obtain 60 to 100 marks
• Passing marks may vary based on HRDK decision

Stage 2 – Skills Test

Candidates who pass the language test will be invited for the skills test.

Skill test includes:

• Physical fitness
• Basic technical skills
